Mystery Boudoir Review - London Ontario - Reel Review Real People - Miss B emotional 40th.

Enjoy the very confident, statuesque, model in the photos and then see the very real lovable mom in the video. she’s so likeable and the video is emotional.

this is my favourite reaction. A rare glimpse into what the actual shoot is really like and the emotions to expect.

This is Miss B’s reaction to seeing her own Luxury Boudoir Album for the very first time!
warning: it’s really cute!!

Transcript - video 1 - (B seeing photo book for the first time)

Hi, I’m Miss B, I’m going to celebrate my big 4 0 next year, I’m a mom with two children and I’m here to pick up my book. I’m so excited!
Blood red, I like blood red, it’s so nice. I thought it (the book was going to be) so small, it’s kind of big! Yeah, it’s heavy too, it’s nice.
Awe I’m so excited. (opens book)
oooh, oh my god….this is me??
Awe..don’t film me when I’m crying (happy crying) but wow, it’s so..omg this is the one that I like, as well as me here. I didn’t know that my butt is so big here. (laughs) this is the one that I love the most. Wow, it’s like. my tummy is really flat. omg.

This second video she laughs that she thinks she actually looks like and poses like a model and then cries.

Transcript Video 2 - I even pose like a model! She could not believe it
I look so pretty but it’s so nice this one. This is the one that I love SO much. I look so like…a model! Oh my gosh.
I even look like. I even pose like a model. (laughs) I love them! Awe…(hugs book) thank you Eman. (kisses book) thank you I really love it.
Interviewer: I’m happy you get to have it before Valentine’s Day.
I know right? Thank you Eman. Yeah, it’s good for my husband but I did it for myself. This is awesome. This is so amazing for me

in this third video miss b shares her own before and after mindset.
she never appreciated herself and dismissed compliments,
but now she compliments herself!
boudoir is more than just photos, it’s a psychological and physiological journey!

Transcript Video 3 - Coping with compliments before and after.
I normally don’t appreciate myself. Even when someone tells me like ‘oh you look so good today’ it’s like yea whatever thank you. I was just like so skeptical about it because I was like ‘why would I do the boudoir (photos)? I don’t look good in pictures but I am glad that I did it. Right after we shoot, I called my friends in Edmonton and said ‘oh my gosh, you have to do that as well! …you’re getting old so…
Now when I face the mirror, it’s like hmmm ‘you look good, you look beautiful, you look sexy!’
Eman - Mirror work!
Yeah! I was just talking to myself. It adds to my confidence, like oh wow. I look good! but yeah… I never tell that to myself!

Miss B - Super Shy

Miss B was a super shy client who was way out of her element and comfort zone. She had been hitting the gym and was about to turn the big 4 0. She wanted to celebrate her accomplishments and just generally feel good about herself. Being a mom of two, she had spent most of her time caring for others and somewhere in that nurturing journey she had lost touch and appreciation for herself and body image. She never really appreciated herself or told herself ‘I look good….I look beautiful’ So she came to us to help her with that self acceptance body image journey. The photos speak for themselves but you really have to watch the videos to appreciate her personality. It’s easy to get lost in the instagram, social media, world where everyone posts these perfect pictures but in posting only still photos, we lose the beautiful human that’s behind our screens. The way they talk, the way they move, all their funny little quirks. Especially on my page, everyone looks like a RBF mean looking model, but these are real people. Funny people with amazing personalities. Which is why I go out of my way to capture these beautiful souls in a candid, real, atmosphere. Once you get a feel of what a person is actually like and fall in love with their personality, then the final photos have a different meaning. This isn’t a person who walks and poses like this in their everyday life. This is the peak of their self acceptance journey and by watching them celebrate it, we can’t help but celebrate them…because we got a taste of their journey to get to that point. I hope you take the time to watch these little clips and put yourself or someone you know in her shoes.
