BEHIND THE SCENES WITH RACHEL
Watch Rachel’s video if you want to get a sense of what a shoot is like. We were fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of the process, including the shopping trip and actual behind the scenes of the shots as they happened. As a result, we got some real reactions! (potty mouth warning!)
She mentions how she used to be in a ‘bigger body’ and also used to be in a ‘smaller body’ so she has quite the perspective.
A lot of people seeing the final images on my instagram assume these girls are models but this video helps you see the work that gets done and the stark differences in the before and after of posing techniques.
You also get to see how appreciative the women become when they see themselves in this new found light. They don't look like this everyday!
Body Diversity
My team of makeover artists, assistants and me, the photographer, strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for ALL body types and to challenge conventional cultural and societal beauty ideals. We welcome all ages, body types, ethnicity, genders, abilities, sexual orientations, religions, and classes in an attempt to improve the variety of body types that are traditionally represented in front of our eyes.
There’s no such thing as being naturally photogenic. It’s all angles, lighting and posing. When you have a team directing you to look like a magazine cover, you’ll feel like a magazine cover model.
ANYONE CAN LOOK LIKE A ‘MODEL’ AND EVERYONE DESERVES TO FEEL LIKE THAT ONCE IN THEIR LIFETIME.
What To Expect
A WALK THROUGH THE ENTIRE BOUDOIR PHOTOSHOOT EXPERIENCE
Book Your Session
We will chat over the phone and answer all your questions. Talk about your “why” and then if everything sounds good, we will book your date!
Pre-Consult
We will meet in person so we are not strangers. You will get to see the albums and prints in person and once you do, you’ll realize which option speaks most to you.
Makeover
After a 2 hour makeover you’ll be feeling like a diva. We will layout all of your outfit options and pick what we think will go best with which set and make magic happen.
Photoshoot
It’s finally time to get behind the camera. I will guide you through all the poses from head to toe and even show you back of the camera, unedited, instant results. You will be blown away!
Reveal
About a week or two after your session, you will finally be able to see the photos. We will go through all the pre-approved images one by one and say yes/no until we narrow them down to the ones you love the most.
About Me
For 13 years, I’ve been making people say ‘is that really me?’ as a photographer. My journey started in creative fashion, I would work with models, hair stylists, creative directors and makeup artists with the goal of magazine publishings.
It wasn’t until I used the same professional techniques to work with everyday women who hadn’t even been in front of a camera before that it finally clicked. It was so rewarding for them and for me. Seeing how much joy my skills could bring…I found my calling! I was meant to empower people, not just chase publications and likes on social media.
Over the years I’ve perfected the art of posing and lighting, so I can make anyone look like a centrefold. I’ve dedicated my craft to offer luxurious experiences; I’ve found the most expensive studio rooms, makeover artists, albums and prints.
(Everything is made in Canada and solely by women employees!)

I want to take a moment to thank the amazing Eman for the incredible day we had doing my first ever boudoir session!
As a curvy girl who is incredibly insecure about her body, I debated for MONTHS on whether or not I had the confidence to walk into a room with a total stranger and strip down for the camera. But let me tell you, the moment I met Eman, I knew we were gonna have a fun day – honestly, the nerves were gone after mere minutes and I felt like a goddess!!
Ladies, this experience wasn’t just for my partner to enjoy some pics, it was also for me. This experience was unbelievable! I am just your average young woman with no modelling experience.
I didn’t know what I was doing, but Eman talked me through it and made me feel comfortable. I don’t view myself as sexy normally because I am ‘petite’ in height and have always seen myself as ‘cute’. With this photoshoot I was able to show another side of myself that I didn’t know existed. It has definitely boosted my confidence!
