Top Reasons Why The Luxury Boudoir Album Is So Popular

The most popular item we sell at our downtown London Ontario location is the luxury boudoir album, there are a few reasons why and I hope to shed some more light on what exactly they are and why you’re probably going to want one.

Privacy

One of the main reasons people opt for the books is the secretive nature of the book. It’s luxurious but mysterious. You get the book and that’s it, no digitals floating around on the internet, just what’s in your hands.
The default cover of the luxury album is the imitation leather cover. I chose this as the default because it’s unassuming. It looks like any other book that could be on your bookshelf. A great tome or even maybe a bible or a wedding album. It doesn’t bring attention to itself. (I’ll go over the different cover options further down if you want it to be the center of attention instead!) You can put it on the coffee table, under it, or hide it in your favourite secret drawer, or even a safe! It’s all up to you and how private you want these photos and this album to be. You get to have big prints to admire but you don’t have to hang them up like wall art.
A 10×10 album opens up to a 10×20 centerfold! That’s almost a 1ft x2ft!.

That Luxurious Feeling

I understand that Digital Images are really popular these days, everyone wants to be an instagram model or show off on social media how amazing they look. (Please do, because I love referrals!) But it doesn’t compare to holding something tangible in your hands. Something you can touch and even smell. It’s the difference between getting cozy and reading a nice book vs reading that same book in digital format on your tiny phone screen. while getting distracting notifications. It’s popular yes, but it’s not how it is meant to be viewed and appreciated. The books deserver their own time and attention. Something you put your phone away for. Above I mentioned that the default is an inconspicuous imitation leather cover, but you have the option to go really fancy if that’s what your heart desires.

In this video, I go over some of the current textures we offer for your books. Get yourself a texture that matches your personality and wardrobe, stay classy and classic with the vintage renaissance high art type feeling or get really saucy with the snakeskin and glitter options. It’s all up to you and what truly represents your wild side.

Size Difference

On the topic of phones, unless you have a huge monitor on your desktop computer, the majority of people these days are only seeing their digital images on their phones. This one makes me sad because when I edit your photos, i’m zooming in deep, fixing blemishes, doing edits with the intention that this photo will one day be blown up big to hang like the art piece it deserves. Even the smallest book we offer, the 6×6, opens up to be a foot wide for a centerfold. Bringing the book closer to your eyes to appreciate the small details is not the same as pinching to zoom on a digital device. In the video below, I go over all the different square size options we offer. 6×6, 8×8, and 10×10. (12×12 coming soon). They don’t have to be square, they can be more like a traditional book if you so choose. The biggest we offer is a massive 12×16! It comes with a music stand, it’s a half book/ half wall art that’s meant to be the centerpiece of any room.

Cost

This is probably going to be your favourite reason. The books are cheaper than the digitals. That’s right, if you were to get just digital images from the a la carte menu, they’d be more expensive than buying something tangible to hold in your hands. If you opt for the collections, you get both the digitals and the book as well as a slew of extra add ons and print credit to spend.
